Product review?? HHmmm. Descriptive, to say the least. ;D
What is the main gripe you have against them, Cantex? Or gripes.

see for yourself
you can see on my bike they are mated with footpeg extenders,
PROS: it keeps my long legged lady happy. she is VERY happy, I am happy.
great price
Gripes:
they are not chrome,
the floorboard flips up at high speeds ( hence the velcro)
and the rest you can see the quality.

It may be that yours weren't chrome. but mine are chrome, just not really good chrome. yours didn't come with that strip of leather and studs, did it? Those cy-clistic peg extenders aren't chrome either. I never understood why they didn't chrome those. Mine are the same.

I see . Nice teatment for the match. Had to look at the drivers floorboards for a few seconds before I realized that was fringe :-[, It all looks great though. What is that up over the handlebars...electronics or a carry all bag?

My bike will end up being the "rode hard and not put up wet, just left out wet" example. It get's ridden constantly, and while it does recieve regular maintenance, it doesn't get washed but about once a month, I do hard countersteering most of the time, hard takeoffs and heavy braking...Probably hit 100 almost everyday at some point, I'm not a "model" rider. Never have used wax on it even. Not anything to brag about, just hard facts. Mine will come in in the "least pampered" section, just barely ahead of or just entering the "abused" section. But hey, someone has to see how well they'll hold up under less than optimum conditions, right? Otherwise, we'll only know how pampered rides weather the miles/years. When/if it  breaks down on me someday, I'll be the one to warn you not to treat your bike this way! 47 K and counting.

I knew there was a reason why I like you. :-\  Now I know what it is. We have a lot in common.  O0  I may be a little worse in one area....I bought a torque wrench and have never taken it out of the box.  :P  ???

It'll last forever that way, or until it's loaned out!

Don't waist your time getting the JC Whitney boards,I got them and sent them back. You get what you pay for. They are cheap, ugly,& poor  quality.I bought some from Custom World, they were a little cheaper than Cobra and look good....
