Hyper Charger Install
« on: January 12, 2009, 10:57:06 AM »

My son purchased a Hyper Charger for the 2006 1300R. It came with a jet kit. He currently has Cobra Speedster Slashdowns with the Cobra jet kit Installed. Does anyone know if the jet kit from Cobra will work with the Hyper Charger or do I have to change the jets and use the ones that came with the Hyper Charger?

I would put it on and ride it and see before you start changing jets.  You may have to washer the needle depending on what jet you have in there right now.  Good Luck!

I agree with Taz.  You should be good to go with the Cobra's in there. I put a Kury Pro-R hypercharger on my '05 1300C and used the jet kit that came with it. The factory jets are just too lean, specially if your going to be forcing more air to the carb. I would leave the Cobra's in and try it out. ;D
