Free to good home. Please help.
« on: July 14, 2006, 03:55:45 PM »

I have a few aquariums that are over filled with fish.  I have 29 left, of over 300, hachlings ranging in size from about 1/4 inch to 1-1/2 inch texas cichlids that need a home.  I have thier parents so you can see what they will look like as they age.  They get to be about 11 inches long and have a life span of ~8-10 years I think.   The female is about 7inches and the male is about 5 inches both of which bite and will draw blood.  I would hate to throw these guys in the lake because I've raised them from eggs.  These guys are about a year old and will start mating at about a year and a half to 2 years. I really need to seperate them by then.

I also have thier uncle, blackie.  He is what's called a green terror.   This guy really needs a home.  The texas cichlids are beating him up.  They are all Very terretorial.  If you would like any of these fish, call me at 281-703-0068.  Meanwhile I need to figure out how to tie some fish tubes.

these fish eat cricketts, feeder fish, anything green (green bean, grass, aquatic plants, romain lettuce, flakes, and pellets.
Recap:  29 kid texas cichlids and 1 green terror about 5 inches long FREE.

Dumb question, are these salt water or fresh water fishes. If they are salt water, I may be able to help you out. I have a friend who has salt water fishes, and he is always upgrading the tank and adding more fishes.
