What a trade-in would bring on new X?

You think you get a new bike but with a trade-in bring any value or what you know on this. :P :D :-* O0

Sell it outright, trade ins are for people who don't want to mess with selling it you will never get what the bike is worth, they usually don't take in to consideration any mods unless it is really custom. Bikes are selling really fast on craigslist.  I agree with Sherri, I would sell my bike instead of tradeing it in  if I was considering getting a new one.

Dealers only give 50-75% of what you can sell it outright for. :(

and you probably will do better removing any extras and selling them separately from the rest of the bike... return to near-stock to sell.

they gave me 2000.oo on my 99 shadow ace swampy......not much but thats what I payed for it and rode it 4 years roughly...

Hey Swampie, Sell you bike your self.  I sold me 1800 C with 53K on the odometer on craigslist in 2 weeks to the first person that called.  He said he had to check out some others before he would buy mine.  The Dealers trade your bike at Wholesale price and sell theirs at retail.  Good luck.
