My latest mod...
« on: August 18, 2008, 12:20:09 AM »

Well, I've been needing to find a way to get my hard bags closer to my bike.  The Kuryakyn License Plate mount turn signals just stuck out too far and would hit the bags.  So I searched for awhile to find a solution, and wound up ordering a Badlands License Plate frame with built-in LED turn signals & plate light, and Dan (pepsX) helped me modify the stock license plate bracket on my fender.

I swear...Dan was like a kid in a candy store cutting and beating the heck out of my orange fender!   ;D   Anyway, he came through and did a heck of a job.  I had my daughter paint it black ('cause that's where black belongs...behind chrome or orange).

Here's the finished product.  I was worried these turn signals wouldn't be bright, but they are freakin' bright.  This is a high-quality product that fit the bill for my application.  As usual, I took "a few" pics:

Nice looking!  The turn signals do look nice and bright, as well.
