Battery Question
« on: May 29, 2008, 07:40:45 PM »

Well, after 6 years of the original battery I guess it is time to get her replaced.

I know Walmart has one but which one do I need to look for?  Is it cross referenced or is it the same reference number as the stock battery?

Not sure about the Wal Mart, I bought a new battery last week at O'Rilleys Auto Parts(sp).
I brought my old battery and they had a perfect replacement
I think it was around $50 or $60 dollars.

I would stick with the stock battery.  For the amount of life that it gives it's worth the extra money imo.  I'm on 5 years as of this month *knock on wood*.

This is from hdlparts.com

BATTERY (YTX20L-BS)
31500-MCA-003AH  (replaces 31500-MCA-003)  001 $81.87

Walmart has a cross reference guide with the batteries.  Just take your battery brand and number and they can match it.
