Big thanks to trevan for coming over and helping a rookie out Saturday!
We couldn't get any farther without the wheel mounted to get precise fitment on the fender. I also realized my Mustang seat isn't going to fit the fender very well. Trying to find out now if I can heat it up and bend it or if I have to get another fender.... Anyways here's the pics, they tell the story better than I can!

No pics this week. I was too pissed after screwing with it for 5 hours with Trevan and Layne...For some reason we couldn't get the tire/wheel to line up with the swing arm? The only factor we could come up with was the swingarm that I modded myself. Even though the measurements all look right something was slightly off. I called Stumpwerks this morning and ordered the tubular swingarm and a set of polished rotors...after seeing my new wheel and tire mounted I have to do something there..
...Anyways stay tuned, I'll have pics once something good happens...

Well the swingarm finally came in and after a couple hours we had it all together. The first test drive didn't work out so well and it only took a few minutes of teardown to realize i never put the bolts into the 3 piece wheel. The hub was spinning its a$$ off inside the wheel. Torn it down and back together the final time in about 30 minutes. BIG BIG BIG thanks to Trevan, Layne, and DA..(I don't know what I would do without DA...
) Here's some pics. All I have to do now is get the fender cut like I want it and painted. I put a coat of rattlecan black on just so it would somewhat match the rest of the bike. So far, so good....little rougher ride but it seems to handle a lot better....maybe it's just that I haven't rode in 2 months!

It's definitely not going to handle a lot better, but it does look good. Especially, with the black center painted.

I know what you mean... when I did the 240 kit on my old 1300 it was a big pain to aligne the final drive/swing arm... after doing it for a few times I got really good at it... sometimes I miss that bike... it was a good bike.
