Live Demo of Handlebar Mounting Solutions
« on: April 02, 2008, 02:56:19 PM »

From my conversations with other X riders, it seems quite a few besides me have considered mounting GPS's, mp3 players, CB's, audio systems, camcorders, etc. to our bikes' handlebars.  Many of you have met my buddy Barry Jucha from Austin, who is the Texas distributor for RAM Mounts.  Although his web site at www.mountinginnovations.com is a great resource for anyone trying to devise a way to mount anything on their handlebars, an even better way to tap his expertise will be coming up very soon.  He will be operating a vendor booth at the Bay Area Motorcycle Rally being held at Space Center Houston in Clear Lake, TX, April 10-13, 2008.  He will be presenting several mock-ups for inspection and will have many different kinds of merchandise on hand for testing as well as for purchase.  At least on Saturday and Sunday, I'm also going to try to be there.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

I won't be able to make it, but tell Barry I said Howdy. FYI, those RAM mounts are the rat's Cranberries for mounting stuff like sonar, GPS receivers, radios, radar monitors, compasses, or sundials :o on boats, too.

Lucky, the link for more info on the rally is bayarearally.com

Jim, sorry you can't make it, but I know you've always got lots of irons in the fire.  I'll tell Barry you said Hi.
