Any Texas riders going to see Roger Waters in Dallas or Houston??

I'm thinking of flying to either Dallas on Friday May 2nd or Houston May 4th to see Roger Waters live.  I can stay at the Four Season in Dallas for free ( wife has a deal with them) but looking at the location of the concert I would be driving into Dallas in Friday rush hour traffic.  The Houston concert is on a Sunday night making me think it would be alot easier traffic wise but then I would have to pay for a hotel.

Anyone going or have suggestions?

Dang, I wish I had known about this show sooner.  Between Nascar on April 6 and Jimmy Buffett later in the month my concert budget is tapped out.  That should be a great show.  Phenomenal musician.   O0

If you go to the one in the Woodlands and stay at the Marriot you can walk to the concert or ride a boat taxi on the waterway. The Pavillion is outdoor I personally like lawn seats and a sitting on blanket if the concert isn't super packed. There are a lot of other hotels within a 1-2 mile radius.

Well, plans changed...lol.  Going to Denver Co for the concert instead...easier to get off work, still waiting to go to Tx....

In Dallas, the rush hour traffic is going to be going the opposite direction, away from downtown.  Not that you'll have the road to yourself or anything, but it shouldn't be too bad going toward downtown.

If you are still wanting to go to TX, you should try to make it to our BBT rally http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?board=28.0  it is at the end of May and will have some of the best riding in Texas and meet lots of Xriders. Enjoy your conert.
