sgt stever It is a GOOD THING that you call us out!!!! O0 O0 O0 BUT, my wife had total knee replacement on the 27th and will get to come home on sat. or  sun. Our 39th anniversary was on the 21st, so I got her a new Knee!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D O0 O0  I hope you get a ride going. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Kenny:

What a great idea!!!  Judy and I will be celebrating out 35 anniversary in August and I've already started sweating what to get her.  But now I know!!!!  A KNEE REPLACEMENT!!  I'm gonna start checking the Sunday paper, maybe I can find a two-fer deal before then.  Otherwise I think I'll get her the gift certificate so she can schedule it in the dead of winter so as not to interfer with my riding.  ;D ;D ;D

I'm out the rest of the weekend; my boy Dalmatian, Jack, is under the knife right now, getting a blockage removed from his lower intestine. Concurrently, cash is also being drained from my checkbook....  :-\

I'll be sticking around to make sure he's okay.

Ride safe!  O0

Hope Jack is alright, you know where to send the wife if she needs comforting............ O0

Thanks, guys, Jack is doing okay. Pretty sore, but the piece of rubber that was causing the blockage is now in a ziplock bag, hanging on the side of the fridge. This is what the little feller has had done in his lifetime:

  • Nuts chopped off... ouch!
  • Stones removed from bladder
  • Stones removed from bladder.... again
  • Chunk of rubber removed from lower intestine

It's good we don't have any kids, they would be wearing burlap sacks, due to the vet bills Jack racks up. :o I asked the vet if she could just install a zipper, or maybe some Velcro, on his undercarriage for the next time.

Back on topic, hope you have a good ride, if you get out; looks pretty crappy here this am.
