So I have some extra 3/4" memory foam enough for 3 mods and I have done a couple of seat mods for other folks.
I plan on doing possibly 3 more here shortly for Ron, Marigold, and Masterboozer if they want it done, after they check out my seat.
I have 1 1300C donated by sheen on this board and sheen1300 on HAR, since he bought my damaged seat, after I recovered it with a new cover, his old seat has a patch on it and 1 1800C seat with passenger (currently being used by myself).
I am willing to let anyone that wants in the Houston area try them out for a week or 2 and give me their honest opinion.
Not like I am trying to make a business out of it and I am no badx and have no experience with this sort of thing, but I am trying to give folks a cheaper alternative.
I do not have any extra seats and would have to use your stocker.
I do plan on getting more memory foam, but I don't want to buy more right now.
I figured on being able to get 4 seats out of each sheet of foam.
Here is what I do.
I take out as much original foam as possible to make a smooth surface.
I take the memory foam and cut it to shape
I use spray adhesive to stick them together, recut an reshape again
I put the original cover back on and use spray adhesive.
I then re-staple the cover after trying to make it fit and possibly having to reshape again, the 1800C seat is a little tricky. Takes about 4-8 hours depending on if the kids give daddy the time.
