didn't see much about customer service here     my experience is this     comcast had (has) sub par equipment and many channels packaged that you pay for and probably won't use much.

directv has the same equipment (most made overseas with the HUGHES stamp on it)  terrible reception in any kind of wind or rain.  they wanted me to cut down trees for better reception after they mounted my dish  --the trees were there first.    Both had and continue to have HORRIBLE customer service both in local accessability and especially in billing/resolution.

went with AT&T Uverse about 4 months ago (have a plasma)   wow tremendous difference     equipment is well above average   good packaging/pricing  great reception with no problems    the best TV eye candy for  my $$

I checked on Uverse, but not ready in my area, will just use the antenna until they have their set up here.

I switched from Dish to Verizon Fios and bought a new big screen HDTV. Wow.Like it so far. The only gripe I have is the On demand is a little jicky. About once a week we have to unplug it for about 30 seconds and let it reboot for it to work smoothly..
