another thing is to make sure you get your bike inspected before you go to regester it or you will have to wait in line twice at the resigstra's office.
Make sure you get the out of state document/slip that the inspection station needs to give you also don't bend or fold it since some registration offices will not except a creased paper.
Don't ask me how I know 
I also found out the hard way that on your proof of insurance card, do not fold it to where they cannot read the bike VIN number. They will turn you down for tag renewal if they cannot read the VIN number.
