Well, finally got the new Tornado air box on looks great and the bike seems to run hell of alot better. It was not that bad installing it and rejetting the hard part was the fuel air adjustments they make it so easy  ;D.The thing I need to do now is to figure out where to put the bracket but it rides pretty steady for now.

Sweet. Aren't you glad you did it yourself. Glad you got it.

I put the Thunder Air Box On my bike but I let the dealer do it for me. He saud that the jet they send in the kit is not as big as the stock main jet. I don,t know much about re-jetting but I do know that the bike still takes awhile to warm up on a cold day and It seems to hesitate when I throttle it fast.
Can anyone tell me what I should do?

When I installed mine, I had the same hesitation right off the line.  Someone told me to back the air/fuel screw out another 1/4-turn, and ever since then it's been spot-on!!!

Well as for the Thunder Mfg. Air Box delima....I took it back to the dealer(already paid them $250 for the oil change and to install the jet kit/air box) and told them that I am not an idiot. No Way a stock air box flows more air especially with the Cobra Slip-ons,and I wanted them to actually put it on the Dyno and use the jet kit that I gave them with it and until it ran right I WOULD NOT be satisfied. So I got back from Mississippi this morn went and picked up the bike, put on my new ULTIMATE SEAT and drove home like a KING and the bike ran like I expected. Very responsive, and plenty of power. Thanx for all the feedback on this topic.

Good to hear you got the bike back and it's to your liking.  Happy riding.  Be safe.

Yeah tell me about it. I took it out today and really gave it a good run and I had no popping or backfiring and it is very responsive to the throttle. I am very proud of my dealers shop manager. He did the work himself. But there is one mechanic there who will NOT be allowed to touch my bike again.
