Heat gun and un-waxed dental floss.  Heat it up and then run the dental floss in a sawing motion behind the emblem. O0

Then take the tank to the body shop and have it painted !  From someone that has spent the last 2hours trying to get the Goo off!

I used WD40 and the goo came right off.  You can stop by a body shop and have them use an eraser wheel if it is really tough, shouldn't cost much if anything I took the trim off of my truck and a shop back home did it for free.

and when you get done you can do something like this...

Carefull you'll invoke the rath of the "why are you so ashamed to advertise your brand name by stripping the logo" harley rider. . . I guess he hasn't been around in a while but I was always curious to ask him - If that is the case - what about all those Harley's that have no logo or branding on them.

I mean at least 1/2 the Harley's on the road don't have logo's . . . - the rest made it home -  :D

Ok Sorry - I have friends that ridem too. . .

I got so tired of people asking me what kind harley it is that I bought new emblems and put them back on.

I've just starting slapping people that ask me what kind of Harley it is.  It's WAY more satisfying!  O0

The technologically superior, more reliable, and far less expensive kind that's made by Honda.
