Swing arm removal
« on: November 02, 2007, 11:10:51 AM »

I'm getting my butt kicked on everything I do on this bike!  Right now I can't get the castle nut to break loose. Anyone have any tricks other than buying a socket from the dealer?

It is tough without the castle nut tool.   I have the removal tool I could let you use.  Give me a call 972-562-9122.

You can make one from a 1 1/4" socket.

Yea I was about to start up the dremel when DA came to the rescue.  Thanks a ton btw!!  You were right that final drive was a pita.  My fender is off center but I gotta work through that.  Unfortunately everything will have to come off again later on.  DA, I'll call ya later this week to return the castle socket back to you.  I'm gonna order one from extremerev....
