Power Commander III question
« on: November 03, 2007, 03:07:08 PM »

Does anyone know if you can adjust your rev limiter using the PC III or does it just do fuel/air? If not, how do you modify the rev limiter to allow more rrrr'sss?

I'm a newbie on the PCIII but I haven't seen or read anything on adjusting the rev limit(s).  Why do you want more revs?  I think I've read on here or some other tech forums that the VTX likes low rpms for the production of torque and hp.  High rpms are not a big v-twin specialty IMHO.   ???

No you don't want those 4" pistons on the 4" stroke moving up and down any faster. Believe me Honda put a rev limiter on there for a reason.

Aight!! I guess I'll just have to get used to it. I've hit the limiter a couple of times, guess I just need to watch the speed as I shift. Brad, are you coming by my house, then to the high school? And if so, what time?
