too bad because the weather was the best its been all year

Ain't gonna last long - just goes from too hot to too cold in nothing flat around here...   Speaking of which, anybody got any recommendations on cold weather gear?  I don't wanna let the bike sit for weeks on end this winter like I did last year...  Main thing I have a problem with is the hands and feet...  Anybody have the heated hand grips?  Do those work good?

I don't have anything heated, but I use some of those up-to-your-elbow long gloves and a gortex sock inside a thick wool sock for the tootsies and it's worked down to 10f.  Got a ugly pair of WalMart thermal bibs to put over the leathers, jeans, thermals, more thermals.  If I fall down I'll be like the little bro on Christmas Story.  An apple warmer keeps the wind outta the helmet.

Tourmaster stuff is pretty warm. I've got a jumpsuit that kept me warm in 28 degree weather at 70 mph for 9 hours going to Daytona. I totally agree with the battery operated socks. My feet suffer the most in the winter on long rides.
