I have the V&H Bigshots and am thinking of putting the stock pipe back on.

See Bill. Look at all of the money you could have saved if you would have just left the damn thing alone and just rode it! :o :o :D ;D ;D ;D

I've got the DB Sideburner and if your volume knob goes to 10, this exhaust goes to 12 (at least). Love the sound, but after an 800 mile day the earplugs get to bothering me :-)

Yeah, but at the time I thought it would make a diference with the cagers. Now I realise that some people on cell phones are worse than a drunk driver and no matter how loud your bike is they aren't going to hear it. I had two people drift half way into my lane this past week. When I got up beside them, they were both screwing with a phone.   ::)

I'm about to put some V&H's on my 1800C. I will be getting rid of the Cobras that are on it now if anyone is interested. They sound ok, I just like a much deeper/louder sound. Dan's Cobra Angled Slashcuts sound great as well. The Cobra's that came on my bike when I bought it are bottom of the line.

Ok, I did it, bought me a set of Vance & Hines Bigshots.  What does a set of Modded Clayton Root pipes go for?

noise noise noise. I too like noise.  8)
The noise I wanna hear is those main bearings, the main drive gear on the clutch basket, the valvetrain, the tires and road.  The engine itsself sounds sweet to me, the exhaust I have no use for. ...................It cant help me do or determine anything.
Im not waitin for cagers to hear me anyway......... :o

Ok, I did it, have the V&H Big Shots on and I will never go back to stock.  Now it has that Low rumble that an 1800CC engine should. It sounds powerful, feels more powerful and looks great still.

Thanks for all the opinions and help.

I have the HK 3" staggered straights.  Loud, sound okay but a bit on the tinny side.
