Cool.
Anybody have a recommended mapping tool?
Does everybody just use the standard Yahoo Maps, Google Earth, etc.?

There is a Highway called The Pig Trail, It is soooo fun. tight twisties and planty of them. I think it is Hwy 26.
The Pig Trail is Hwy 23. It runs N/S from Brashears, (at the north end), to Hwy 71 east of Mansfield, (the south end). The best ride is the first 20 something miles from Brashears to Ozark. Cool road... :)

I like north of I-40 best.  Highways 7, 27, 21, and 23 are all very good North-South roads.  East-West roads are 16, 27, 14, 412 and 62 are OK too.

There is a fly fishing Conclave on the White River near Mt Home scheduled to begin Oct 3.  I will be there on the bike, weather permitting.  My wife will be on the river most of the time.  I'll be riding most of the time.

Also, the Bikes, Blues & BBQ rally in Fayetteville starts Oct 3.  Based on reading the boards in the past years, there will be a lot of Xers there.

Would be great if a few of us hooked up that week.

I was hoping to go this fall too. Sometime around early October, for 4 or 5 days. Maybe stop and harass snake for a while.

This looks interesting, three of my favorite things:

Pete, this sure sounds like a lot of fun.  I think I just might be interested in a 5-7 day trip up there.

Another good road from what I'm told is 123, also north of I-40.  Pick it up just NE of Clarksville & head NE.

Cool - Can't wait!!!  My wife has rented a small cabin near Cotter right on the White River.  We weren't planning on leaving until Oct 3.  She will be in a cage.  Personally, I would like to leave several days earlier.  There are sooooo many roads to ride up there.  If I can find it again, I would like to ride Ignert Ridge.  Any interest in leaving Sat or Sunday?  We could get a bunch of roads behind us before we tackle Bikes, Blues & BBQ.

Would anyone else be interested?  It is 120 miles from Cotter to Fayetteville.  I have to stay with my wife starting Wed.  Free until then.  We could try to see if the cabin is available early if interested in that option.

Post or PM if interested.
