I just changed my oil (I use Rotella) and was going to send a sample of it to Blackstone Labs to analyze it.  http://www.blackstone-labs.com/motorcycle.html
Then I thought, it would be cool if the next tech day. we coordinated it so that about 6 (or more) of us picked a brand of oil, change it at the same time, then send it to Blackstone after 3000 miles, and post the results.

We all ride similar bikes, in similar conditions, I thought it would be a fair comparison.

Whatya think?

We could do fossil and synthetic. We may need more than 6 volunteers.

Just send it in now; everyone else can get theirs done later. At one time Tapper was monitoring the oil analyses, but I don't know if he still does. I've got a detailed one from Blackstone Labs for Royal Purple. If anyone's interested I can try to dig it out of the pile.

I just put the Royal Purple in my bike. I don't need the specifics, but how did it fare in the tests? Good...Bad....Fair??
