The top graphic was created first, and there's something about it that still grabs and holds my attention. The bottom graphic was created later, (to round out the design symmetrically). Symmetry is important, but sometimes empty space draws attention. The fact that the top graphic got about as much support as the bottom, (13-13), let's me know that my original design is strong. See why I'm having a hard time deciding?
There's only one color used for both graphics. The shading styles, (and different monitors), are what creates the illusion of color change. Final shading will depend mostly on the output device used for whatever product being produced.
Thanks again for all of the input. I'm probably going to make some shirts and decals. I'll post again when I do if anyone is interested in getting one.
