I believe he's referring to this one.  Seat Pin Mod on the left hand side in Tech Write ups.   O0

Everyone needs to do this IMO.

That is the mod I was referring to...easier to access the battery from what I have been told.

You still have to remove the battery cover. Use 10 gauge wire to hook up a fuse block under the seat. Then run 12 or 14 gauge wire from it to a waterproof lighter socket. Get a heavy-duty plug and you can get a jump or jump someone without removing the seat at all. I even made some 10 gauge jumper cables, 10 feet long, just for the bikes; they're lightweight and compact and long enough to jump your bike from another bike or from a cage.

The seat pin mod takes all of 2 minutes.

I suggest having someone stand there with a shop vac with a crevice tool attached so that it vacuums the shavings as you drill and they don't fall down on the bike.

The aluminum you're drilling through is super soft. A sharp bit goes through it like a knife through hot butter.

If it's the decel popping/backfiring you are talking about, you might consider getting the desmog done.  It iwll take care of 90% of the pop.

go to the bareass choppers link above, and go to tech mods. That'll  give you the pair valve/ desmog link.
