Whether the X is attached to your butt or is in your heart, - Once and Xer, always an Xer! O0

I did it backwards, I bought a Wing when I was 40 then later sold it and bought the X when I was 50, but I always have done things backassards.

I'm kinda like you. I bought my wing when I was 29. Went to Honda North in Dallas and saw this baby AppleSauce yellow thing sitting there, the last one they had, and just had to have it. 1974 it was. Got a Windjammer ferring with a cigarette lighter, a must have item, sissy bar and luggage rack. Out the door was $3600. after trade in on my 750. After a week I couldn't stand that color any more so I rolled her paint booth and took care of the Baby AppleSauce Yellow.
Nothing like they are now, price wise and comfort but did put 65,000 trouble free mile on the ole girl. I bought the X figuring my road days were over, so to say, but---- I guess not. Me and my wife are headed for Terlingua and points beyond next Tuesday morning, then the BBT the next week, then Phoenix by the first of July, then western Colorado in August, Ok I did it backwards, wing then the X, I'm now 59 so next year I can get wing with the oxgen tank and saline rack attachments. Nope ain't getting rig of the X either. O0

I gotta tell ya... If you had ridden one of the new Wings you'd know that it's pretty nimble, especially for a big bike. It's got enough juice and handles well enough to give anybody heart palpitations. It ain't your grandads wing anymore.
