Nah, we aren't going.  Hanging out here instead. 

How long has he been riding?  That GSXR-750 is one mean machine.  If you ask me, I think he should stay with a Twin.   But I could be a little biased, also.  Has he looked at the RC51's?  Also, he could get a super deal on a Ducatio 749/999 right now with the 1098's hitting the pavement this past Feb.  Nothing like V-Twin torque in a sport/superbike.      I'd let him try my 999 out.......  but that ain't gonna happen.   

If I had the cash I'd buy that little 650R from you in a heartbeat.  I could turn that into a fun little track bike.

get an R1... or GSXR1000 the GSXR will cost you about the same as the 750 if you get a new 06 model

He has been riding minicycles/motorcycles since he was 6 yrs. old, and rode motocross for 8 years straight at the national level.  So, I not too concerned with his experience level.  His transition from dirt to street has been pretty easy. Although we all know it's the other idiot that gets us hurt or killed!!  But a 1000cc might be pushing the envelope... This 650R is a steal though...
