Clearview Windshield -Installed MIne Today
« on: December 30, 2006, 04:02:29 PM »

After several mishaps with my stock shield;

1. Head on collision with a road rock, but it wasn't my face
2. A run in with Novus plastic polish, Hondaline sheilds have coating that Novus will strip off.
3. Final, dropped the bike in the garage one day and the sheild hit my table saw causing some serious scratches, at least it wasn't the paint.

I opted to replace it with the Clearview shield. I got the one that is 1 1/2 inches taller than the stocker.  It was a nice fit and reasonably priced.

It is a brand of an aftermarket windshield.  The name of the company is Clearview Shields.  They are wider than the stock shield and you can also get them in taller sizes.  I got the one that is 1 1/2 inches taller than stock.
