1800 VTX just doesn't seem to have the zip it use to .
plugs only have about 2000 miles on them. Really notice when I am going slow in too high of a gear and the big x starts to chug chug ,I use to just give a little twist on the throttle and could just feel that 65 pound flywheel shake a little as it would pick up speed but now it seems to bog down . Any suggestions on this

Thanks , Been using synthetic since the bike was new , I have not done the desmog .
I was thinking about fuel system cleaner or maybe just a bad plug , I did the gound thing on Bare's page
So will try the fuel injector cleaner next.

It's usually my right rear plug that get dirty and although the bike doesn't need high octain, I still like to run a tank through it from time to time. Sort of like feeding your dog the expensive stuff every once in a while. He doesn't notice but it helps your heart.
