Here's a thought
« on: November 10, 2006, 10:56:30 AM »

I've been haunting this board for going on 4 years now.  Every time it gets hacked I get sent back to the begining.

What's the chance I can get a lifeline hacked - maybe I can get rid of some of this hair on my back and the sagging butt that I keep dragging around on the ground at the end of every day. . .

Second thought - being sent back with what I know now might be good for me . . .  but might not be all that safe for society.   Maybe there's a reason huh. . .  :-\

Just might not be worth giving up what I have now.

I was just looking at my post count earlier and this on dawned on me - just one of those what ifs.

There hasn't been anything on the news about swamp gas affecting rowlett residents Dusty, I guess it must be something else! ;D

As long as he understands what he is talking about is all that matters.
I was worried that maybe he had put his head down instead of his foot.  ;D

Hey Hangman I know what you mean!! It would be great to get hacked and then be able just to start over from the begining  with everything you know now. I guess that is why we don't get hacked so we can just get old and gray with saggy butts!! lol  :D

With that in mind about being old here is a story!!

         OVER THE HILL:
>
>A wealthy old lady decides to go on a photo safari in Africa, taking her
>faithful aged poodle named Cuddles, along for the company.
>
>One day the poodle starts chasing butterflies and before long, Cuddles
>discovers that he's lost.. Wandering about, he notices a leopard heading
>rapidly in his direction with the intention of having lunch.
>
>The old poodle thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep doo-doo now!" Noticing some
>bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew on the
>bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about
>to leap the old poodle exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious
>leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?"
>
>Hearing this, the young leopard halts his attack in mid-strike, a look
>of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees. "Whew!",
>says the leopard, "That was close! That old poodle nearly had me!"
>
>Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby
>tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for
>protection from the leopard. So off he goes, but the old poodle sees him
>heading after the leopard with great speed, and figures that something
>must be up. The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the
>beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard.
>
>The young leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here,
>monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving
>canine!
>
>Now, the old poodle sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back
>and thinks, "What am I going to do now?", but instead of running, the
>dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen
>them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old poodle
>says.
>
>"Where's that darn monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me
>another leopard!
>
>Moral of this story....
>
>Don't mess with old farts...age and treachery will always overcome youth
>and skill! Wisdom and brilliance only come with age and experience.
>
>I am in no way insinuating that any of you are old, some are just more
>youthfully challenged.
>
>And yes Iam over the hill!! At least Iam not under it!!  ;D

That's a good one Chad - I'll have to remember that story when I go back to Louisiana to visit my family.  I can use that one on my brother.

It's the Cosby effect Snake. . . My daughter's social life has eaten just about all the usable brain cells left.

This leaving before sun up and getting home after sun down is wearing me out.  The bad thing about it - I may have to miss another ralley, but it's a big family vacation coming up and it doesn't happen just every day.

The entire family and the in-laws are going to Hawaii.  I should be excited but for the life of me I haven't figured how to get the X on the plane. . .  I was hoping to park it in the isle next to me so I cound keep an eye on it. . .

Well, I used two hands and was finally able to dislodge my cranium from my anal orfice.  ::)
Hang in the Hangman.

Don't miss Hawaii. I got to go several years back and it's still one of my best memories. Go to the vtxoa and do a search for members in Hawaii. I bet someone there can get you fixed up with a bike. Hell, even if it's a scooter. You don't want to circle the island too fast anyway.
