year round. Here's an example at aplus: http://www.aplusrider.com/basic.html - I took it at a community college. check w/ motorcycle stores as well for other places. I paid less than $190 (that's why I say check around and I feel I got a good course - also ask others for recommendations - don't just take cheapest course). ANyone you know looking?

I took it at North Harris County before I bought my Honda. Then Honda refunded most of the cost. Wound up costing my around $15.00.

They usually are a little cheaper if you can take them during the week. I went to www.awesomecycles.com went there straight from work on a Friday night and my son went to APlus it is a little closer to our house. I just recently found out that the if you join redrider (about $40) they will refund you upto $75. You make $35 not bad.

Also the classes are held rain or shine. Tell your Mom good Luck and hope we get to meet her we need more woman riders. O0

"refund" usually implies that you pay, then you send them a thing that says how much you paid, and they pay you back that amount, up to thier limit. SO if you pay $5, they pay you back $5.  If you pay $50, they pay you back $50.  If you pay $100, they pay you back $75.
