I went last year and was disappointed...I've been to it over the past few years...and last years had fewer exhibits, vendors, etc.

I think the motorcycle industry is taking a hit.  Besides jobs being scarce or the fear of not having a job has put off a lot of people to buy toys and that's smart but in general it seems the motorcycle industry is in a recession.  They use to have the motorcycle show in 3-4 major Cities in Texas but the last time I went to one in Houston has probably been 5 years ago.

Got part of the way to the show before a couple of pit bulls made their way onto HWY6  :cuss:
Interesting fact! If you hit a dog going 75 it will cut the dog in half :ohwow: and if your on a goldwing there's a chance the bike will self park without crashing, seen it with my own eyes :ohwow:

I think Gary kinda got hurt.  Last I heard he was sharing the pain meds with Gumbo.  I think thats why Gumbo is seeing Goldwings ride by themselves.

[/Some do not do FACE BOOK !!!!!b]

I called Gary and he said that he was going about 70 mph. when he came off the bike , after hitting both dogs .

Wearing his riding jacket saved a lot of him , broke a bone in his right wrist , messed up a ligament or tendon in his left hand ,

road rash on his knees and a couple of other nicks .Helmet some heavy scratches .

And the bike put it's own kickstand down and stopped to wait for Gary.  So, technically the bike didn't wreck, just Gary.
