I volunteered to be a moto person for this thing.  I have no idea why.  It's Saturday May 14th.  

If you are interested in spending the entire day out in the heat with a rider you don't know, chasing bicycles or runners around....here is the link.  I am pretty sure we don't have to follow the swimmers.

They still need volunteers and I have more information.  Riding will be at about a 35mph pace and will only be for a couple of hours (seat time).  I will be toting an official following the bikes making sure that they are not cheating.  All the roads will be blocked so no stopping unless you need a break.  The total course is supposed to be around 116 miles so there will be opportunity to go faster than 35. 

Looking for riders with experience having passengers.  Sign up, they will give you a free t-shirt and a $50 gas card.  I know you VTX guys can use all the gas you can get.

Your priorities are ALL MESSED UP!!!!. I would look for the "naked woman driver" option and I'd ride passenger. Better handholds that way.

Well, job done and had a great time.  It didn't hurt that there was a very attractive young lady on the back of my bike for 4 hours.  Getting to see these people ride for 93 miles was pretty cool.  I have to say, there are some really tough people out there.  After swimming 2.4 miles they rode 93 on a bicycle then ran 26 miles...that is bad Cranberries.  I am going to do next year if I am in town and available.   We did come up short bikes so some of the media crew didn't get to go out.  Out of 26 volunteers 21 showed up and one showed up 1 1/2 hour late with an empty tank.  SMH!
