It's quite the process. You have to apply.You have to take CPR and first aid. a current approved school has to sponser you. You have to undergo fingerprinting and background check(sorry Gumbo) retake the BRC, Audit several classes at your sponser and other schools. Then you have to be accepted to the instructors class which is only 2 x per year and is moved around the state. They only accept 12 per class and your gone for 9 days at your expense. next one is in June which I won't make but hope to get into the one in October. June is in Beeville and a friend some of you know just got accepted there. I'm shooting for October which will be in Fort Worth.
