I hate getting "RAPED" by the Honda stealer regarding the 8000 mile service,    So the question is... other than the valve inspection/adjustment and the inspection of the final drive oil (what all does that include anyway?), what else really needs to be accomplished by the stealer. Because....

1. I do my own oil changes.
2. I can change the plugs myself.
3. I can see and determine if I need to add brake fluid to the reservoirs and if it is clean.
4. Same with the hydraulic clutch reservoir.
5. Same with radiator fluid.
6. Do a visual on my brake pads.

I mean... the stealer wants in excess of $460.00 to do the 8000 mile service.  Maybe I'm missing something??  Someone PLZ offer some feedback regarding this issue, cause I want to spend my $$$ on fuel and hotels!!!

In my opinion, your not missing anything. Some people just don't like to work on thier bikes themselves.
