Sad story
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:54:39 AM »

The tall ship HMS Bounty sunk off the east coast....very very sad to loose such a beautiful ship as that, and to loose crew.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

The captain and crew were sad, but what the heck they didn't have a radio on board. I just can't figure what they were doing out there in the first place. Have they said, were they trying to out run it ??? ???

Yes, they were trying to slide by on the western side of the storm.  They were on their way from Nova Scotia to FL and then onto Texas. Apparently the storm just got to big for them to slide past.

It is sad but should have stayed where they were or left a week earlier since it has been in the news for while.
