Left my house at 0900. Took 380 to Decatur then picked up Highway 51 down to Granbury. Met a buddy there and took 377 down to Stephenville for lunch at Hard 8 BBQ. After lunch, we took 281 south of Hico and cut off on FM219 to go to the Horney Toad in Cranfils Gap. When we got there it was closed so we took 22 into Meridian then took Hwy 6 into Clifton. After visiting some former co-workers, we continued on Hwy 6 into Waco and stopped at Hooters for food and refreshments. After dinner, we headed home up I35. I pulled into my driveway at 2300!
While we were in Hico, we bumped into a guy with a nice custom Harley. BS'd with him for a while then he jumped on his bike and rode with us for a while. When we stopped again, we BS'd some more then went on our way.
All in all, it was a great day! Weather was perfect, food was good, visited some old friends, and made some new ones.
