Circuit of the Americas (COTA)
« on: June 21, 2012, 09:09:20 PM »

Anyone want to head up to Austin for the F1 Grand Prix racing in November?  Should be a killer race.  COTA is the ONLY purpose built F1 track in the US.  This will be the first F1 race on US soil in five years.  Looks F1 is back in the US!
I plan to do a trip up there before the race to check it all out before the race in November.

As for bike racing there..............
Kevin Schwantz is trying to broker a deal between MotoGP and COTA to run MotoGP there in 2013.  Discussions are under way.  Hope that goes through!

This is an airial of view as it was under consturction.

Too far away to know what my plans will be for November, but count me in if I'm in town.
