Light bar 1300rs
« on: March 31, 2012, 07:04:08 PM »

I just installed a new aftermarket light bar (driving lamp & turn signals) however like a dummy, I don't remember which side which wires go to. Orange on 1 side  & blue on the other. I know very little about 12 volt wiring, thought it would be easy. Not to mention that the driving lamp wires are 1 gray & 1black, & the turn signal wires are 1 green & 1 orange. I do know that green is ground so the orange must be the hot wire. There was nothing but a picture for the instructions, which did not me a clue how to proceed. Does anyone know how the wires are supposed to go. Just another adventure that I thought I could accomplish in a few hours, not. Any help would be appreciated.

ok, I located a schematic, I just want to be sure on which wires to connect. Can't afford to get whole harness replaced if I burn it up.

Looks good. Hope you ran the lights direct to the battery with them switched by a relay you installed.
