Last year a new bike shop opened near us, called Potterosa Cycles & ATV. I finally got in there to look around last weekend; I've seen a number of VTXs parked there. A friend of mine introduced me to the owner, Cliff Potter, and told me that Cliff's a good guy and knows his stuff. He services all brands, and can order most parts and accessories. He told me that ordering from him online would be expensive, but coming in in person can save you a lot of money. He uses four different distributors, and says he can have most items in the next day.
They're located about 1 1/3 miles from 59 on FM 1485 West. The phone number is 281/689-0400 and their web address is
www.PotterosaCyclesandATV.com for those who want to see what they handle. Check 'em out and tell us how it goes; I like to see the small independent shops make it. He had a wall full of EBC brake pads, helmets, and other parts, and by the time you factor in shipping he may well be cheaper than the dealers, or ordering online.
