The Isle of Man TT was for many years the most prestigious motor-cycle race in the world.
The racing is held on public roads closed for racing by an Act of Tynwald
(the parliament of the Isle of Man ).
It is the oldest motor-cycle racing circuit still in use. The official lap record for the “Snaefell Mountain Course” is 17 Minutes and 12.30 seconds at an average
speed of 131.578 mph.

After the Road Race, watch the “Most Dangerous Path in the World”…!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally wornout, shouting..."What a Ride!"

Gumbo,
Defiantly, my next door neighbor qualified at the Isle of Man TT several years ago, he is a fantastic rider.
He currently has an 02 R1000 Yamaha, all tricked out.
It’s pretty wild when you get passed doing 125 and he is doing 185+ on a straightaway, the turns that I do at 65-70 he is doing at 100-120, maybe more.
It gets pretty wild to go out for rides with him on some weekends.
