Not sure about the parents, but the old guy in the kayak has to be at least 100  :o

That's Wayne's folks, Frank & Betty. Salt of the earth people, and Frank's a real diehard fisherman. Last year (we had a stout cold front last Thanksgiving also) he had everyone out fishing and it was so windy his tacklebox -- full of gear -- blew off the pier and sank. Last night we thought everything -- the RVs and the vehicles -- were going to blow away. We actually had a wheel chock blow out from under a wheel on our RV. The lids blew off of all the dumpsters on the island and all of the trash blew out into Aransas Bay. And there was a bit of a nip in the air, too. Last night as the winds roared and the temperature dropped, Marigold was ripping lips -- she caught specks, reds, black drum, whiting, and catfish -- fishing off the bank in front of the RV. The station in Victoria said we were getting 50mph winds. Great fun! And Wayne showed me a new way to snap a spring clip that's amazingly effective; great way to lose an anchor ;D.

In fact last night after we got home, I baked the flounder that Wayne caught.  It was yummy.  We have a freezer full of trout to still eat.
