Just finished ordering a Woody's Fairing
« on: May 13, 2011, 06:59:38 PM »

Well it looks like my bike will be sporting a new fairing in about 5-6 weeks, I just cannot wait until it gets here.

I was toying with the idea of getting a new bike or upgrading my current one.

The "X" is just to fine to do with out, so it's time to upgrade it.

It should be standard issue to wake with one of these every morning.  If not please consult your physician.  :stickpoke:

I was using an alpine marine stereo, but not anymore.  Now I just have a cubby type slot with some cable to hook up to my ipod and a small amp to the speakers.

Paul,

What was up on the Alpine marine stereo, did it crap out or something else.

I was just looking at them.

It still worked when I took it out, but when taking the volume up higher it would just turn right off.  Something must have fried inside that wouldn't allow it to max out the volume.  It wouldv'e been such a problem to take out and try to figure it out, so I just decided to do away with it entirely.  I also got tired of when washing the bike needing to care extra care around the stereo area as to make sure to not get too much water on it, which I think I did one day that's probably what caused the stereo to ultimately crap out.  I guess if I could do it all over again, i probably would have bought different fairing that allows one of those marine stereo covers and somehow seal the area where the windshield goes in.  But that was an extreme revolution fairing and not a woody's.  I was also partial to way the the E R fairing looked instead of all the others.
