That's an excellent question Quiet Guy.  Stone Oak is a master planned community in far north San Antonio.  For those familiar with SA, It's approx 6,000 acres between 281 and Blanco Rd on the north side of Loop 1604.  An early plan for the developer was to annex the adjoining suburban community of Hollywood Park by purchasing the water company that served the area thereby avoiding annexation by the City of San Antonio.  However, the downturn of real estate in 1986, the bank failures and then the Resolution Trust Company bankruptcy work outs thwarted that plan.  I know, too much information.
