We can have the night shift workers group! Do you think we can start a ride at a reasonable hour instead of the crack of dawn? ;D

I also work nights and have weekdays off. We need to organize a weekday ride. Nothing better than a pack of VTX going down the road.

Leaving on vacation next week but will return and hope to put together some of our group for lunch runs on the weekends.  We'll hit Meunster, Texas, East Texas, Possum Kingdom, Etc.  Be back on the 18th.

I don't get much free time, but I work in irving and live in southlake.  I hit the grapevine park roads as often as I can on my way home.  It's not a long ride, just an hour or so, but it's better than nothing, and it lets me slow down and relax instead of fighting traffic on the highway.  This is a google map of the route from 114 at Texan Trail to dove.  Google screws up after that, but you can either hit 114 from dove and head into keller there, or continue down dove with more backroads.  (Oh, and when I come out of Oak Grove park, I head into a subdivision on Mockingbird.  The only reason I do that is because I like the trees arcing over the road on Hood lane down by dove park (I'm a country boy).  It's a short section, and you don't really miss anything by just taking Dove Loop down to Dove.

Let's give it a while.  They are repaving dove right now, so sections are gravel.  I think they are still working on the round-about at dove and white chapel as well.
