I'd love to take this trip with you.

Riding and stopping to listen to music would be my idea of heaven.  I hope you have a great place to hang out and listen to a local band every night.

Raymond

If u decide u wanna go, just let me know. I'd be happy to have ya. I know you have the family obligations and all (cute ones in the avatar), but if they threaten to kick you out for any reason around July...say ok.  ;D

I'm not adamant about being solo but I do have the following road rules for my rides:

150-300 max miles per day is desired (except for the first and last day....casual pace...visit places and linger a little while)
off the bike before twilight. (would hate to hit a deer, they seem such peaceful creatures)
no hard and fast schedule. (the only hard and fast things are leaving some day in early July and returning appx 2-3 weeks later.)
no bad moods :redcard:
no arguments  :redcard:
no almost running over me  :redcard:
stops every 80-100 miles. (I like stretching and being comfortable when I ride)
if some road looks better than the one I'm  on...I take it...not sure...flip a coin.
at night there is mandatory beer drinking and listening to music and cutting up with crazy strangers. (may meet an okie BMW dude on the road that I met in Durango last year)
In the am I depart when my body feels like it.  (150-300) miles could be done in the afternoon if necessary. Usually riding by 9:30-10.

most important:
come home relaxed. If I arrive home without being depressed that the trip is over...then I did not follow the plan above. :bikerider:

Man,

I am going to have to be really bad over the next month so that I will be kicked out of the house in July.

The hardest thing I drink is Diet Coke, but I can have just as much fun with strangers as the ones that are drinking can.

You make this sound like my dream trip.  You wouldn't have any problems out of me.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

I have to stop at 100 miles with an 1800 C

In the am I depart when my body feels like it.  (150-300) miles could be done in the afternoon if necessary. Usually riding by 9:30-10.

I hope this wasn't an attempt to talk me out of it.  I like to sleep in.

Raymond and Lucky....

If yall are at all serious about coming along and my un-intense pace and attitude works for you...
Just come on. If you don't have a lot of time, go to Arkansas or Branson and head back from there.
Anything is fine with me.

So far I have police escort from Houston to Jefferson that I am looking forward to.
