? about wheels

I am thinking of trading my stock C model rims for spoked wheels and going with white wall tires. I am finding that it is difficult to find white walls for a 19" front and 15" rear, apparently not common sizes. My question is if I trade, are the spoked wheels off the VTX the same size as my rims before I waste any more time sweating the size and if not, what size are the spoked wheels?

1300? 1800? I know on the 1800 they are differnt from Spoked to Cast wheels!

I'm assuming you have a 1300C, since that is the only VTX with a 19" front wheel (Chad, you should've known that  :P).  The 1300 front spoke rim off the S model is 17", and I believe the rear is still 15".  I think they should fit, but you may have to get the S front fender, too.  Not too sure about that one.

Also, if you haven't done so, signup over on www.vtxoa.com and ask your question there.  That place is filled with all kinds of people all over the world, and you'll probably get alot more responses there than here.

Are you wanting white walls for your 1300C, or are you definitely thinking of switching wheels?

sorry, yeah I have an 06 1300C. I haven't decided on the spoke wheels for sure, but I definately wanna do the white walls. If the fender doesn't fit I'll just remove it. I like the metzler but I don't think they had it in the 17" either. I guess I need to do more research

just in case anyone was wondering I found Avon Venom's to fit my rims, they had all kinds of sizes at cyclegear.com if anyone else is looking for white walls
