Getting my Bike ready for her first Toy Run!
« on: December 16, 2009, 10:10:29 AM »

Howdy,

Sunday will be the first Toy Run for the new bike - actually my first Toy Run too as last year was just too cold.  I wanted to get the bike ready and found a stuffed deer at Academy.  A red light from Radio Shack and a few wires later and I have Rudolph riding my headlight.  What's so funny is that when I get up to speed, his front legs raise too and it looks hilarious!

The rear legs are wire-tied to the guides under the top of the triple trees.  The wires go out the "rear" of the deer and into the headlight bucket.  I used blade connectors and just tied into the light bar connector.

Hope you see some of you other X Riders out there.

Later,
U-Turn

Well, I seem to understand from this board that Silver is the fastest color, so I'm not too worried about anyone catching my Rudolph.   :D

Looks like you hit a deer, shouldn't ride the hill country after dark!

Itanium is the fast one  ;D It really doesn't matter how fast, it's the ride and the company that counts
