I've had the red Sears jack for about 5 years now. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950190000P  It needs to be replaced, it still works but it's been abused. I think they have one that is a little better and I think it's yellow and a little more $$$ http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950191000P  Main thing is to make sure the jack is low enough to fit under the frame. I usually work on my bike on the Jack but if I'm going to be doing something like removing a wheel are something that might require me to get a little rough with it I let the bike down on the bike stand for more stability.

The bike stand is made by a fellow member Dan (Pepsx)

Yep, the sears aluminum jack rocks. It is the most expensive that Sears has, but it is the only one that slides easily under the X. FYI, I have a 2005 VTX 1300R

I have a Larin Jack that I picked up at Tractor Supply! I looked at others and my bike sets really low and needed one that would go low. Real good jack and does the job real well!
