Darn it...I would love to go to this, but we will be out of town that whole weekend.

Do ya'll ever run into the anti-metric crowd when you attend these events? I don't mind but I don't really want to bring the wife and have her harassed or run into other issues.

I have been to a few events since I have been back in the wind
and even at "Harley only" type events, I have never been treated
badly for my choice of bike. We are all on two wheels!

New to your forum, but I ride with a B.A.C.A. group (Gulf Coast Chapter) and I ride a VTX 1300R. While most of the bikes there are Harleys, and there are a couple of die hard Harley types, there are also a lot of Vulcans, a Drifter, several different Yamahas and a few Goldwings. It's the CAUSE not the ride.

Welcome to the forum, Graybeard.

And you're right, it's the CAUSE not the bike that matters.

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.
