Needed: Footpegs
« on: July 23, 2009, 02:52:01 PM »

Hey everyone, I had one of my footpegs fall off the other day going down the road.  Luckily my feet wasn't propped on them when it came off.  However, I didn't know about it for about 30 miles down the road when we stopped to get a burger.  Going back to look for it would have been like trying find a needle ... well, you get the picture.

The pegs that I had were the kury flame footpegs.  The bracket mount, not the crash bar mount.  If I can find one of those (left side) that would be great.  But if I can't find a single one of those, I would pretty much put anything on them right now, just as long as they match.

But if anyone has something that will help me, let me know what you have and how much you want for it/them and we will definintely talk.

Thanks Much,

Jeffrey

I'm in the San Antonio area, actually just NE of San Antonio, Universal City.  Right outside Randoph AFB.  But I make frequent trips to NE Austin quite a bit.  My brother lives up there, so I like to grace him with my presence now and then.

Put Kury Iso Wings on mine and don't need the factory pegs.  You're welcome to them for the cost of shipping.  Mine are for 05 1800C.  I have no idea if any are interchangeable much less if they'd fit your 1300R.  But you're welcome to them.

I have a set of stock '03 1800C pegs as a fallback option as well.

Sorry it took so long to get back on here.  I have been swamped at work, and then out of town for a little bit.  Trying to plan a wedding so I've been a little pre-occupied with that.

I appreciate the offer on the stock pegs from both of you, but I actually found a set of kury pegs, open item, but brand new, sitting in a dealership a week ago for 20 bucks.  Couldn't walk out without them, becuase I knew someone else was going to grab them up really quick.  But I got them put on, and they look great.

But now if I have a right side flame peg, just incase someone out there needs one for anything.  If anyone needs it, give me a hollar and it's yours.  If I don't hear anything in probably a week or so, it will probably be tossed.  I have no use for it, and see no point it keeping it, just for the sake of keeping it.

Thanks again guys, see you on the road!
