Looks like a good mag
« on: August 06, 2009, 07:37:09 AM »

I saw this mentioned in the long rides section of the FJR forum. It looks like a good magazine for motorcycle travelling, They throw it out free over around Cal somewhere I think.  :bikerider:

On the FJR forum it said the magazine ranked the top ten rides in the country and I believe "Bear Tooth Pass"
was #1.   Hey...been there, done that.  :bikerider:

Does look interesting...wish there was a dealer in the Houston area that carried it.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

If you look at the bottom of the first page, they have all printed trips from 2006-2008 available on a DVD.   :bikerider:

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally wornout, shouting..."What a Ride!"

You can believe the quarter mile time...versus the VTX.   Jason told me when yall used to take the VTX's out to the drag strip that they would clock em with a sun dial.  :couch: :stickpoke: :couch:   ;D

And I still listen to your songs on my mp3 player when I ride...

funny story:  when Pete & I were riding to Colorado last year, it was just outside of Texas that my mp3 player's battery died, and the last song that played was "Let me die in Texas"   :c

It's just fate talking to ya.   j/k.   Thanks for listening to my stuff. Always makes me feel great to know that someone does. On Tuesday, I'm gonna record another song at a studio downtown. It'll just be me and a guitar to get a rough version to send to NSAI for an evaluation.  "Just A Shade Of Human."

I'll post a link here. Luv to know what you think of it.   Thanks again.
